7 Signs You're Ready to Join a Development Circle

"Spiritual development requires the freedom to connect with different parts of reality in order to understand them more fully. The more you're able to explore, the more connections you can form, and the greater your spiritual growth will be. When you feel a strong desire to connect with something in your reality, listen to your intuitive guidance, and make the connection." ~ Steve Pavlina
Here's something ironic: when people are drawn to spiritual development circles, most think they should already be able to "do it." That they should arrive with abilities, gifts, evidence.
This couldn't be further from the truth.
A development circle isn't about proving what you can do. It's about healing, undoing, nurturing self-awareness. From my perspective, the less you think you know, the better the environment for genuine spiritual growth.
So if you're wondering whether you're "ready" for circle work - here are 7 signs that might surprise you.
The 7 Signs You're Ready:
1. You've had experiences you can't explain
Synchronicities that start to become more frequent in your everyday life. Seeing repeating numbers and other meaningful signs that spark memories or thoughts towards people or situations. A knowing sense that feels intense or prophetic, including vivid dreaming.
You may also experience visions - periphery (to the side) - or feel emotions that belong to other people when you're in their company.
You might explain these away as coincidence, imagination, or "just stress." But they keep happening. And part of you knows there's something more.
2. You're curious but don't know where to start
Let's be honest: you've always known you had a knack for reading people or situations accurately. You've always been interested in the unseen.
You might not have readily accepted it, but you've been curious enough to want clarity on what you see and feel.
The people who know you well probably know you're "pretty good at reading people." But you haven't talked about it much. It feels too strange, too "out there."
Now you'd really like to know: is what you have actually something? Is it real?
3. You're tired of learning alone
You've already dipped your toe in - meditations, exercises to "open your third eye," research, maybe attending a mediumship demonstration.
You felt the pull to experience these things for yourself.
But you've probably reached a point of questioning: Do I really want to pursue this? Is it the right time?
Because while you're able to explore spiritual development on your own, you've realized either you're not experiencing it like everyone else describes, or you have no clear direction to move forward.
You need guidance. Community. Someone who's walked this path before.
4. You understand it takes time and patience
You've probably attended workshops or online courses. You've realized it's not a quick and easy process to reach the goals you want to achieve.
You've also probably realized you don't even know what you want to achieve yet, or what you're capable of. This can manifest as "not being good enough" feelings.
Just like anything worth having, it takes time, dedication, and consistency to make and maintain progress.
But here's the thing: recognizing it takes time IS the sign you're ready. The people who aren't ready are the ones still looking for weekend certifications and instant abilities.
5. You're ready to do the inner work
You're basically tired of your own excuses. You have a deep desire for change.
You're looking for something deeper and more meaningful. Purpose. Connection. And in many cases, you feel lost and can't quite put your finger on why.
On a personal level, I found I was searching for something and had no idea what it was. And that, honestly, is the best place to come from.
In that hollow space of uncertainty is the clarity that the material world holds less charm than the riches of spiritual awakening.
6. You want traditional methods (not trendy stuff)
You're looking for more than short-term quick fixes. You want true meaning.
You're curious about what you're experiencing in your life - grief, heartbreak, hardship - and how to navigate it spiritually.
You're questioning why other methods haven't worked, or why you've struggled to maintain consistency with techniques you've learned.
You're interested in lineage, ancestry, roots. You want to understand your place and purpose in this world.
You want something real. Something that lasts. Something with foundations.
7. You feel the call to develop properly
You're just ready. Ready to try. Ready to take a leap of faith.
You've tried other methods but haven't been able to join up the dots.
But what is "the call to develop"? It's nothing auditory. It's a synergy of events, thoughts, and emotions. An inner knowing that now is the right time.
Maybe you keep seeing the same information appear. Maybe you had a dream that felt significant. Maybe you just woke up one day and knew: it's time.
There's a quote I love: "When the student is ready to learn, the teacher appears." Part of that is divine timing - reaching the perfect point for the manifestation of your divine purpose.
Are You Ready?
These are just some of the signs you're ready to join a development circle.
None of them are mind-blowing. None of them are dramatic. And that's exactly the point.
Deep down, when you're ready and the timing is right, you'll be naturally pulled to where you need to be.
If that time is now - if you're reading this and feeling that pull - Foundation Circle might be where you're meant to be.
Foundation Circle is where your aspirations meet the safety and structure of traditional spiritual practice. Weekly circle work, foundational teachings, and a community of people walking this path together.
We're patient. We're grounded. We're doing the real work.
If you feel the call, this is your invitation.
